Mark Stevens

Pastor Stevens became the pastor of Calvary Baptist Church in April of 2004.  He graduated from Trinity Baptist College with a B.A. degree in Church Ministries and has a M.A. degree in Bible Exposition from Pensacola Theological Seminary.  Pastor Stevens spent seven years in the United States Air Force, and three years as a teacher and athletic director at Ft. Walton Christian School.  He has been pastoring since 1986.  He and his wife Kim have three children (Samantha, Jason, and Tony) and ten grandchildren.

John Policastro
Assistant Pastor/School Administrator

John Policastro was called as Academy Administrator in August 2010.  He has a B.S. in Biblefrom Baptist Bible College, and a M.S. in Educational Leadership from Bob Jones University.  Mr. Policastro was ordained into the gospel ministry in April 2000.  He has served as Assistant Pastor at Bayview Baptist Church and Academy in Mastic Beach, NY, Assistant Pastor for Christian Education at South Dade Baptist Church and Colonial Christian School in Homestead, FL, and as Assistant Pastor for Academy Administration at Calvary Baptist Church and Christian Academy in Montgomery, AL.  Mr. Policastro has been a Christian school administrator and teacher since 1996.  He holds FACCS certification in School Administration.  Mr. Policastro, as Academy Administrator, oversees the day-to-day operations of Calvary Christian Academy and Preschool.  He and his wife, Marianne, have two grown children and one grandchild.

Matt Thompson
Youth Pastor

Matt graduated from Trinity Baptist College in Jacksonville, FL with a B.A. degree in Pastoral Theology.  He joined the church staff in May of 2006 as the Youth Pastor.  Matt also is a Bible teacher, chapel director, and coach at Calvary Christian Academy. 

Keith Nolen
Music Director

Keith currently is the Choir Director and a teacher at the academy. He graduated from Pensacola Christian College in 1992 with a degree in Music Ministries. After working at a church in Cleveland for 14 years he began work at Calvary Baptist Church and Academy in 2006. His wife's name is Stacy and they have three children (Andrew, Brook, and Charity).

Barbara Coker
Office Manager

Barbara serves on the pastoral staff as the Office Manager. She joined the church in January of 1980 and the staff in August of 1981. Barbara and her husband, Joe, are faithful servants here in the church. Barbara serves as our nursery coordinator and Joe teaches the Emmaus Road Sunday school class. They have three children (Colleen, Nicole, and Sarah) and five three grandchildren.

Peggy Monnin
Secretary

Peggy serves as the Church Secretary here at Calvary Baptist Church.  She has been involved in ministry work for over 25 years.  She joined the church staff in December of 2003.  She and her husband Tom have been faithful members of Calvary for over 30 years.  She is also involved in the Missions and Master Clubs programs of the church.  The Monnin’s have three children (Tom, Tim, and Ted) and eight grandchildren. 

Joe Ogden
Building and Grounds Supervisor

Joe serves as Facilities Manager (a.k.a. The Maintenance Guy).  He is a graduate of Landmark Baptist College in Haines City, FL, where he earned a B.S. degree in Bible.  Joe joined the staff of Calvary in July 2004.  He has been in the ministry for 18 years. Joe is also the Activities Director for the Senior Saints, a program for our golden members, that meets once a month for lots of food, fun, and fellowship. He and his wife, Rachel, have two children.
